Rates do not include international airfare to and from Dar es Salaam. Based on rates during the fall of 2010, economy airfares range from $800 to $2,200 depending on the city of departure. However, airfares are always subject to change. Best rates are generally obtained 2 or 3 months prior to departure. SaveAfricaNow can help with booking tickets. SaveAfricaNow can also plan your travel together with other team members. Also the rate does not include entry visa (obtained at port of entry for most nationalities), passport, malaria prevention tablets, other medical requirements (see your medical doctor for more information), and pocket money for souvenirs, etc.
Is the cost tax deductible?
In most cases, yes. For more information, inquire about how your fee and travel costs may qualify as a charitable donation for income tax purposes.
Can I raise the funds for the rate and travel expenses?
Yes. In fact, we recommend it. People like to donate to good cause like this one in Africa. Once you register, we will send you a comprehensive manual on how to raise the funds for your trip.
